University One-Rooms
There are a number of one-room schoolhouses across America that reside on college or university campuses. Some of the schools act as a repository and showcase for the history of teaching. In some instances the one-room school might be used as an education facility where students in the Education Department demonstrate early 20th century classroom life for school children in the local area. Some higher education institutions even use the extra space for classes while building renovations are taking place on their campuses.
